Visitors should note that flooding in Hackenzac (and many neighboring towns, especially in southern Bergen) is a major problem. If a 15-minute mudslide overflows the streets, and keeps falling for a few hours, many roads, especially River Street, will never be able to pass. If you can avoid driving during rain or flooding, avoid it. Otherwise, try the high ground road to the top-of-the-mountain street.
